Trigger.dev has raised a $16M Series A led by Standard Capital.
We're already being used to execute hundreds of millions of agents each month by over 30,000 developers powering incredible apps like:
- MagicSchool: AI teaching assistants. Read our customer story.
- Icon.com: to create adverts using AI. Read our customer story.
- DavidAI: to build AI audio datasets.
Our mission
We want to give every developer the power to easily build production-grade AI agents and workflows, so they can focus on inventing the next generation of software.
Prototyping AI is easy; building high quality production-grade agents is not. We handle reliability, queues, scaling, task orchestration, human-in-the-loop, and observability for you.
What's next?
You can expect significant improvements to the existing platform. Starting with more advanced observability features and faster run starts using MicroVMs. Expect more integrations with common third-party services so you can get started faster or get your data out of Trigger.dev.
We're also expanding the product to solve more common problems when building agents. Sandboxes will allow you to execute untrusted code. We'll ship a whole suite of tools for context engineering and management too.
Who's investing
We’re excited to be part of the first cycle from Standard Capital’s inaugural fund. Standard is a new Series A firm led by Dalton Caldwell, the longest-serving Y Combinator partner, Paul Buchheit, and Bryan Berg. We're also welcoming new investment from Michael Grinich and CTO fund.
Existing investors including Y Combinator, Liquid 2, Wayfinder Ventures, Pioneer Fund, and Rebel Fund also participated again in the round.
